On Syros, you will find popular beaches, with all comforts available, and more secluded and quiet ones. Yet, all of them have a very distinctive idyllic aura! In the south of the island, you will find the most popular and easily accessible beaches, whereas you can find more pristine and secluded beaches in the north.
Must-see beaches:
Kini: This beach is only 30 meters away from our hotel. It is organized, easily accessible and the sunset there is stunning.
Galissas: With azure waters and golden sand, Galissas is one of the largest beaches of Syros. It is organized, with umbrellas, but also has tamarisk trees that offer shade if you prefer lying on the sand. This beach is ideal for water-sport lovers.
Armeos: This is a well-known beach, ideal for nudists. It is located very close to the gulf of Galissas. It is a pristine, quiet beach, with pebbles, sand and crystal clear waters.
Vari: This is an organized sandy beach, with shallow waters and water-sport facilities. It is spacious and in a beautiful location. It is accessible by car or bus.
Aetos: This is a small, quiet and secluded sandy beach. The waters of Aetos stand out thanks to their wonderful turquoise color. The beach is accessible either by boat or on foot.
Agathopes: This is the most famous beach of Syros. It is the most popular beach on the island thanks to the golden sand and shallow waters. You can find cafes, taverns and shops nearby. Agathopes is easily accessible by bus too.
Delfini: This is a beautiful organized beach with pebbles and sand. There are umbrellas, water-sport facilities and taverns to eat at.
Lotos: This is a serene beach with bright blue waters and tamarisk trees for shade.
Komito: It is well-known for the beach bar you can find there. The beach is sandy and tamarisk trees provide natural shade. It is not fully organized, but there are some umbrellas there.
Gria Spilia: This is another beach accessible either on foot from the existing path or by boat. Located on the north coast of the island, it has crystal clear azure waters and natural shade from trees.
Varvaroussa: It is a secluded beach with amazing turquoise waters, often chosen by nudists. Access is more difficult, either from the sea by boat or on foot from the existing path.
